Corporate Identity is the face you put forward, usually in print, in the form of logos, business cards, letterhead, and other publications.

Identity design / corporate identity amounts to corporate title, logo (logotype and/or logogram), and supporting devices commonly assembled within a set of guidelines. These guidelines (corporate identity manuals) govern how the identity is applied and confirm approved colour palettes, typefaces, page layouts and other such methods of maintaining visual continuity and brand recognition across all physical manifestations of the brand.

Though the logo design process itself may be relatively straightforward, before I begin it is essential that I fully understand the nature of your business, who your customers and competitors are and, most importantly, the message you want your logo to convey.
